Praise & Celebration: Faith n Hope's Christmas 2021
We have praise to share as we are busy preparing for the upcoming Christmas parties at the Children’s Home that works with Faith n Hope International Ministry. This praise is specific to enhancing technology at an organization in Pohang, South Korea. Faith n Hope has provided 7 laptop computers for Pohang Multicultural Center. Multicultural Center provides support to families and children dealing with poverty or home situations. The children will be able to take various online classes by using the new laptop we provided for them. God is good!
We are also excited to announce, even amid COVID-19 challenges, an opportunity to bring hope and celebration during our Christmas events at six Children’s Homes we work with in Korea and Thailand. Jesus gave us the gift of eternal life through his work and the celebration of His birth to be our savior. During this upcoming Christmas, Faith n Hope provides Christmas presents to Six Children’s Homes and at most Children’s Home, we are hosting dinner parties for these precious kiddos. We want to show that they are loved, appreciated, there are people/families praying for them every day, and that we are here for a long haul and not just for a few seasons. Also children enrolled in Faith n Hope program will be able to present what they have learned, in English, to staff and their friends. We cannot wait to share some stories, pictures, and videos with you. We pray that for 2022 Christmas, some of you may be able to join us here to celebrate together. Children’s Homes/Centers we are conducting Christmas events:
· Yongduk, Gyeongbuk Christian Home – 44 children
· Gimcheon, House of Love 33 children
· Incheon, Shinmyung Children’s Home 50 children
· Pohang, Sunlin Children’s Home 7 children
· Chiang Mai, Thailand 50 (children and teachers)
· Pocheon, House of Sunrise 30 children
During the most recent (Thanksgiving) visit by Thomas to Korea. It was so great to see these children be so receptive to learning : )
Laptop Computers delivered at the Pohang Multicultural Center. I know these units will enhance the learning opportunities for children & families.
LoL: While walking near the Gimcheon Park/Trail to decompress/R&R during Thomas’ visit to Korea, we noticed a free public concert by an oldies performer. Guess how old this gentleman/performer is? He’s 70!!!
Work of Faith n Hope was featured in one of the Children’s Home we work with. We are so previleged to work with God’s precious children. So blessed!!!
