Abigail Shin (신현영), Managing & Logistics Director/Content Creator. Areas of focus: Ministry’s internal & external messaging & communications, education program support, volunteer (Korea) recruitment, website/digital content, & online education platform SME (a social venture partnership with GongTeo English). She also serves as the main staff serving children in Incheon, South Korea.
Shushan Richardson, Pohang, Yeongdeok Children’s Program - Volunteer. Areas of focus: Education and ministry support to Faith n Hope’s Youngduk South Korea program. She is FnH’s chief education advisor to the ministry, and she supports FnH’s social venture partnership with GeonTeo English. When not volunteering actively with FnH, she serves as the English Professor at Handong University.
Mr. Lee, Gimcheon Children’s Program - Volunteer. Areas of focus: Education and ministry support to Faith n Hope’s Gimcheon South Korea program. When he’s not loving our kiddos and sharing his love of Christ with our children, he works in marketing at the KEPCO E&C (Korea’s premier energy & technology firm).
Xiomara Moyer, Pohang, Yeongdeok Children’s Program - Volunteer. Areas of focus: Education and ministry support to Faith n Hope’s Gyeongsangbuk-do South Korea program.
Jinny Kang, Gimcheon, Mungyeong Children’s Program - Volunteer. Areas of focus: Education and ministry support to Faith n Hope’s Gyeongsangbuk-do South Korea program.
Ellie Chang, Gimcheon, Mungyeong, Yeongdeok and Pohang Children’s Program - Volunteer. Areas of focus: Education and ministry support to Faith n Hope’s Gyeongsangbuk-do South Korea program. She has come to Korea from Canada for a one-year gap year.
Matthew, Special Project - Volunteer. Mathew provides technical/research support to FnH, as well as serves as a short-term volunteer for FnH. Matthew is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University (Software Engineering), and when he was in primary school, he participated in three short-term mission trips to ACA led by Soo & Thomas. When not supporting FnH, he is a software engineer at Amazon.
Soo Kim (Founder)
Ms. Shin Ae-ra (신애라 집사님) is our Ambassador & championing the FnH’s program/ministry. She is passionate about providing voice, hope, and opportunity to orphan children who are waiting to find a home. She is also an award-winning Korean actress with leading roles in TV dramas and movies. Ms. Shin hosts one of the top variety shows currently on air in Korea. She’s a mother of three children (two children adopted from Korea). Ms. Shin and her husband, Korean actor Cha In-Pyo are passionate about providing a long-term solution to orphaned children and are engaged in supporting causes such as the fight against child abuse and school violence, rights for North Korean refugees, and humanitarian aid to underprivileged children. We are grateful for her willingness to support and partner with Faith & Hope International Ministry.
